Megha feels very sad. She goes to her room and starts crying. She has a wound, so she puts some ointment on it. Then, she decides to call Manoj. A man answers the phone and asks Manoj if Megha is his girlfriend. Manoj says no, she is just a distant relative. Then, he rejects her call. Megha feels even worse. She soon receives a message about an EMI payment being due. Megha is surprised because she did not take any loan. She calls the number in the message and asks if it is Sikandar’s loan and equity company. Megha is shocked by what she hears.

Meanwhile, Manoj sees a message from Megha but decides to switch off his phone. Megha sends him an audio message saying, “Someone is fooling us. How is this happening? We didn’t take any loan. This is a big scam. Call me back.” But the message does not get delivered. Megha tries to call Manoj again, but his phone is still off.

Later, Megha hears Kavita talking to Manoj. She asks Kavita to give her the phone. But Kavita says no. She tells Megha that she is talking to her nephew who lives in Nepal and asks her to leave if she is done with her work. Megha feels sad and confused. She tries calling Manoj again, but his phone is busy.

In the living room, Megha sees Kohli sleeping on the sofa. Goldie and Kripal are busy making a Rakhi reel. Ranjeeta tells Goldie to go to Megha’s house to get a rakhi tied. But Goldie says that Megha can come here instead. He says he was missing her at home. Surinder adds that Megha should spend time with her in-laws.

Later, Megha sneaks into Kavita’s room and takes her phone. She thinks to herself that something is wrong because Kavita was talking to Manoj, and Manoj is not answering her calls. She wonders what is happening. Just then, Kohli sees Megha. The phone slips from Megha’s hand and breaks. Megha quickly makes an excuse, saying she came to the room to get some water. She goes to the kitchen, drinks some water, and then rushes back to her room.

In her room, Megha listens to an audio message from Surinder. She thinks about him and starts crying again. She feels overwhelmed with many questions in her mind.

The next morning, Megha goes to Kavita and asks her something. But Kavita accuses her of spying. She asks Megha what she is thinking. Just then, Kohli shows the broken phone to Kavita and tells her that Megha took the phone last night. Kavita becomes angry and scolds Megha. Megha tries to explain that Manoj is not answering her calls, and she wants to talk to him. She mentions that Manoj spoke to Kavita six times yesterday but did not call her back. Kavita coldly responds that Manoj is her son, and he will talk to her whenever he wants. Then, Kavita twists Megha’s hand and insults her. Megha begs Kavita to stop, saying it hurts. Kavita finally lets go and warns Megha to stay in her limits.

At that moment, Surinder arrives. He tells Kavita that it is Rakhi today and he has come to take Megha home. Surinder asks Megha if she won’t give him a hug. Megha, still crying, hugs him tightly. Kavita pretends to be nice and checks the gifts Surinder brought. Surinder then asks if he can take Megha home, saying everyone misses her. Kohli and Kavita smile, pretending to be kind.

Before leaving, Kavita tells Megha not to mention anything that happened at home because it might upset Manoj. Megha responds that although she is the daughter-in-law of this house, she will always be the daughter of her own family. Kavita warns her not to trouble her family, saying they might tell her that daughters should keep their marriage strong. She says it’s up to Megha to decide.

Kohli then makes a hurtful comment, saying that Surinder’s burden is gone now that his daughter is married into a wealthy family. But Surinder firmly says that a daughter is a blessing, not a burden, and now she belongs to their family. Megha picks up her bag, and Surinder offers to carry it for her. Kohli gives a silent signal to Kavita, and then Surinder and Megha leave.

When they reach home, Goldie ties a rakhi to Surinder, who gives her a selfie stick as a gift. Goldie hugs him happily. Megha then ties a rakhi to Kripal, who gives her chocolates. Kripal also gives Megha a Swiss knife and tells her to keep it for safety when she goes to Georgia. Megha remembers Kavita’s words and feels emotional. She hugs Kripal tightly.
