The episode begins with Sachin getting very angry when he hears about Akash and Riya being in love. Sayali tries to calm him down, saying that Akash and Riya truly love each other. Sachin asks if Riya is lying about their relationship. Sayali reassures him that Riya is a nice girl and works as a dubbing artist. But Sachin is firm and says that Riya will not be allowed into their house.

Sayali then suggests that they should talk to Paresh, their father, about this. But Sachin doubts that their dad would accept Riya. He reminds Sayali that he and their brother Tejas have already hurt their dad a lot, and that Paresh has high expectations for Akash, who is educated and sorted. Sachin worries about how their dad would react to this news. Sayali argues that if Akash and Riya truly love each other, they should try to convince Paresh to accept their relationship. But Sachin refuses, saying that love like this doesn’t last, and it’s just a fleeting thing.

Sayali questions how they can marry Akash to someone else if he loves Riya. Sachin replies by asking if she means that one can’t be happy in an arranged marriage. He insists that Akash will find a good girl and that they too are happy in their arranged marriage. Sayali gently points out that not everyone is as lucky as they are. But Sachin then reveals something shocking: he tells her that Joy, Riya’s father, insulted Paresh. He also tells her that the goons who kidnapped her and Akash were sent by Joy. Sayali is even more shocked when Sachin admits that he beat up Joy. Sachin then says that Joy has a problem with Akash and would never agree to the marriage. Joy would just insult their dad further if they tried to push for it. Sachin then tells Sayali not to talk to Riya anymore, but they end up arguing about it. Eventually, Sachin insists that Sayali come with him.

Meanwhile, Riya goes home and argues with her parents, Joy and Mamta. She asks them why they think they have the right to make decisions about her life. Mamta responds by saying that as her parents, they have the right to choose her husband. Riya fights back, asking if her dad would divorce her mom if she asked him to, and says that if her parents can decide their lives, she should be able to decide hers too. Joy tries to calm her down, but then drops a bombshell: he tells Riya that her marriage has already been fixed with a man named Raghav. Riya is horrified and says she can’t stand Raghav. Later, Sachin and Sayali go to a restaurant where Akash is working. Sachin angrily scolds Akash in front of everyone. Akash tries to calm him down, saying that the owner might hear them, and it could cause a big issue. But Sachin doesn’t care and keeps yelling, asking Akash what’s going on and why he’s still talking to Riya after being told to stop.
