The episode begins with Swara taking Prabha to Dadi’s room. She gives her some water and says she understands her pain because she overheard Prabha’s conversation with Vedant. Swara says she is surprised to learn that Vedant has a sister. Prabha corrects her, saying he had a sister, her dear daughter Roshni. Prabha explains that many years ago, she was falsely accused of something terrible and was thrown out of the house. Swara recalls that Prabha had told her how Koel ruined her reputation and got her kicked out.

Prabha shares that Koel accused her of meeting a lover under the pretext of taking Roshni to the doctor. A flashback shows Prabha driving with Roshni in the car when the car suddenly breaks down. Prabha checks the car and asks a passerby where to find a mechanic. Meanwhile, Roshni thinks about tying a rakhi to her brother, Vedant. Prabha spots a garage nearby and heads toward it, but just then, another car crashes into Prabha’s car. Prabha screams for Roshni. The flashback ends, and Prabha explains that on that day, she lost her daughter and was separated from her son and husband. Swara sympathizes, saying it must have been very painful. Prabha reveals that Vedant was deeply hurt and has never been able to forgive her.

Dadi, who overheard the conversation, tries to say something. Manju enters the room and hears them talking. She mentions that Vedant never celebrates Rakhi because it brings back painful memories. Swara suspects that Koel had planned to kill Roshni all along.

Prabha says that even though Roshni is gone, she can’t come back. Dadi continues to try to speak, and Manju encourages her. Dadi manages to say the word “red.” Meanwhile, Koel is seen talking to Roshni in a hidden room. She tells Roshni that she should be grateful because Koel saved her life after causing her accident. Koel admits that she played a clever game, recalling how she pulled Roshni out of the car and then arranged for another car to hit Prabha’s vehicle. The flashback shows Prabha screaming Roshni’s name.

Koel continues, saying she didn’t kill Roshni but made it look like Roshni’s death was Prabha’s fault. She reveals that when Dadi found out about this, Koel pushed her down the stairs, leaving Dadi unable to speak. Koel laughs wickedly as she remembers it. Roshni is traumatized by these memories. Koel tells her that she is her secret and that no one will ever know she is alive because Koel plans to use her to gain wealth and power. She orders Roshni to eat her food quietly, like a good child. Koel then locks Roshni in the room and hides the door with a cupboard.

Dadi struggles to say “red room.” Manju is thrilled that Dadi can speak again. Swara vows to find out the truth and help Prabha get the justice she deserves.

Later, Swara realizes they are out of flour and decides to get some from the storeroom. At the same time, Koel brings food to Roshni. She tells Roshni not to be scared of her but warns that she will die if she doesn’t eat. Koel loosens the chains binding Roshni’s hands and encourages her to eat, saying that good children listen to their elders. Roshni quietly says “Vedu,” thinking of her brother. Koel replies that Vedant misses her too, but she will never be able to see him or tie a rakhi on his wrist again. Roshni remembers tying rakhi to Vedant and hugging him. Koel snaps at her, saying there is no hope for her future and that she will be trapped in this room forever.

Suddenly, Roshni gathers the courage to push Koel away. She quickly wraps the chain around Koel’s legs and escapes the room. As she runs out, she bumps into Swara, dropping her pendant on the floor. Swara asks who she is, but Roshni can only say “Vedu, rakhi, Bhai” repeatedly. Swara, sensing something is wrong, tells Roshni to come with her and promises to help her. Swara makes Roshni sit on a sofa and assures her that she is safe now. Swara goes to get some water, but while she is gone, Koel arrives, grabs Roshni, and drags her away. Koel threatens to break Roshni’s legs next time and takes her back to the secret room. When Swara returns with the water, she finds Roshni missing.

Koel ties Roshni up again, reminding her that she is a secret, and secrets must be kept hidden.

Elsewhere, Rudra looks at a photo of Roshni and cries, calling her his daughter. Prabha tries to comfort him by offering him water, but Rudra angrily throws the glass away. He tells Prabha that he cannot accept anything from the hands of a woman who, in his eyes, is responsible for his daughter’s death. He orders her to leave and throws her out of the room.

Prabha stands outside, crying, while Rudra continues to grieve. Vedant, holding Roshni’s photo, walks in and sees his father’s distress. Prabha asks Vedant to check on his father because he is unwell. Vedant goes to Rudra and asks what is wrong. Rudra, filled with guilt, says he feels like he failed as a father because he couldn’t protect Roshni. Vedant tries to comfort him, saying that although Raksha Bandhan always brings back their pain, his father still has him, and he will always stand by him. Vedant hugs his father and reassures him, saying he can’t bear to see him so broken. Rudra, touched by Vedant’s words, says Vedant has become very understanding.
