The episode begins with a lady asking Aditya to sing a song. Aditya hesitates and says he isn’t good at singing. But she insists, so he agrees and says he will lip-sync like he does in movies. However, he needs a partner. Shrishti teases that he will choose Arshi, but Arshi jokes that he will pick Jhanak. Aditya then asks Jhanak to join him for the song. This makes Anirudh sad, while Jhanak thinks to herself that the song is meant for him, Sir ji.

Aditya announces that he wants to dedicate the song to his friend Jhanak. The lady then asks Jhanak who she would like to dedicate the song to. Jhanak looks at Anirudh and says it is for the person who understands her better than she understands herself. Aditya smiles, while Arshi nudges Anirudh, saying Jhanak is openly expressing her feelings for him. Shrishti adds that Jhanak is embarrassing Anirudh in front of everyone. Anirudh, confused, asks how he is involved in this. Arshi reminds him that he hurt her because of Jhanak. Anirudh seems to realize why she keeps bringing it up. Tanuja advises them to stay out of conflicts, saying that respect comes from earning and that one should live comfortably with family. Bablu wishes he could follow that advice, but Choton jumps in, stating that respect comes from how much one earns. He mentions Anjana’s efforts in managing the house, which leads to an argument with Shubh, who says he can’t stay there any longer.

Meanwhile, Aditya and Jhanak perform a lip-sync to the song “Jaaneman jaaneman,” and everyone applauds. The lady compliments their performance and invites everyone to have snacks. Dadi, however, is upset and asks Shubh what he means by wanting to leave. Shubh clarifies that he feels obligated to stay only because he manages the expenses, but he cannot tolerate Lalon’s presence. Bablu tries to calm him down, explaining that being poor or rich doesn’t define a person’s character. He sarcastically remarks that Lal respects Shubh’s money, not him, and suggests that if he were wealthy, Lal would be devoted to him instead. Lal, feeling attacked, tells them not to involve him in their argument. Bipasha then jumps in, pointing out that parents often scold their children and expect them to contribute financially. Bablu counters, saying he’s talking to his son, but Bipasha insists that Shubh is her husband too.

Aditya then tells Rudra that his producer wants to meet him to discuss a potential project and that he wants to do a dance video with him. Rudra thanks Aditya but seems cautious about the offer. He tells Aditya to be careful as the producer might have other plans. Aditya reassures Rudra that his intentions are pure and that he wants to help Jhanak succeed because she is talented.

Brij, meanwhile, speaks to the producer and CEO about Jhanak. He complains about how his favorite student got banned during the show because of Jhanak and asks them to reconsider their decision. The CEO listens but doesn’t commit to any changes.

At the same time, Anjana talks to the family, saying that they never took money from Lal but raised him and got him educated. She feels it’s his responsibility to take care of them now. She compares him to Choton, who also helps with expenses but doesn’t create problems. She expresses disappointment that Lal, despite being a professor, hasn’t brought happiness to the family. Lal tries to defend himself, but Tanuja interjects, saying they’ve tried hard to keep the family together. Choton then criticizes Lal for causing trouble, while Anjana prays that Tanuja’s daughters don’t behave like Lal.

Bablu declares that he has made up his mind. Dadi, trying to keep the peace, insists that everyone must stay together as long as she and their father are alive. Shubh, however, finds it difficult to stay in the house under these circumstances. Choton, frustrated, scolds Lal.

Later, Rudra approaches Jhanak and kindly offers his support, telling her she can consider him an elder brother and reach out whenever she needs help. Jhanak thanks him and smiles, feeling comforted. Rudra encourages her to eat something before he leaves. As she walks away, she accidentally bumps into Anirudh, causing her to drop her food plate. Anirudh, annoyed, notices the food stains on his clothes. Jhanak quickly apologizes, but Anirudh, upset, remarks that she seems to only have eyes for Aditya now. He asks her why she didn’t notice him earlier, highlighting what he sees as the problem between them.
