Anjali’s friend is rehearsing dialogues from the Ramayan, but he’s wearing a costume meant for Saleem. His other friend asks why he’s in the wrong costume. The friend explains that the person who rents out costumes won’t give him the Ramayan costume unless he pays off an old debt first. He hopes that Anjali will give him some money. Anjali hands him 200 rupees and tells him to go get the right costume. Another friend then asks Anjali if she has met his girlfriend and what she said. Anjali responds that the girl is busy. Yet another friend asks Anjali for some money. A tea seller nearby interrupts, saying that this friend is a liar who never pays back his debts. The friend jokes that he’s such a good broker, he could sell the Lal Quila and the Qutub Minar. Anjali just smiles and drives away.

Later, one of Anjali’s friends tells the group that someone is looking for her and points out Aman. Aman walks over and says he’s looking for the girl who bravely fought off some goons a few days ago. One of the friends says he must be talking about Anjali. Aman confirms and asks for a reason. Aman says he has a case for her to handle, but he also hints that he has romantic feelings for Anjali. He asks for her phone number, and the friends give it to him. Aman then calls Anjali and introduces himself. However, Anjali mistakes him for Chaman, the owner of a grocery store to whom she owes money. She quickly tells him she will pay off her debt soon and asks him to send some groceries to her house. Aman corrects her, saying he wants to discuss a legal case. Anjali is excited, thinking she’s becoming more famous as a lawyer. She starts boasting that she can handle any case. Aman asks where they can meet, and she suggests he come to her office. But then she remembers that she doesn’t even have a proper chair in her office, so she quickly changes her mind and suggests they meet at a café instead. She also thinks Aman might be a rich client, so she agrees to meet him right away.

Anjali arrives at the café and, once again, starts boasting that she can handle any case. Aman tells her that his case is unique. She demands 1000 rupees as her fee, and he gives it to her without hesitation. Then, Aman reveals his “case”: he says that someone who looks just like her has stolen his heart, and he wants her help to get his heart back. Confused, Anjali asks who this girl is. Aman smiles and says it’s her—he fell in love with her the moment he saw her. Anjali gets angry and warns him to stop talking nonsense. She delivers a strong one-liner and leaves the café in a huff. But instead of being discouraged, Aman is even more captivated by her fiery personality and decides that he will marry her, no matter what it takes.
