Chirag supports Deepika when Shobha and Jahnvi kick her out of the house. He warns Shobha that a daughter’s dignity should be protected at home. Shobha tries to brush it off, saying it’s a family matter, but Chirag doesn’t back down. He points out how Shobha called Deepika a servant, made her work all the time, and humiliated her. He calls it torture. When Jahnvi asks why he cares, Chirag tells her to be quiet. He threatens to take legal action against Shobha and Jahnvi if they mistreat Deepika again. Before leaving, Chirag tells Deepika that he’s on her side.

After they leave, Jahnvi angrily asks Deepika what she said to Chirag to make him stand up for her. Deepika remembers Yashwant’s warning not to tell Shobha or anyone else about their plans. So, she says she doesn’t know what Chirag meant and walks away. Shobha and Jahnvi keep yelling after her. Meanwhile, Manorama, another family member, notes that Yashwant has changed.

Chirag meets with Yashwant and asks how he can let Shobha and Jahnvi treat Deepika so badly. Yashwant says he feels helpless and hopes that Chirag will protect Deepika after they get married. Chirag promises to always look out for Deepika. Yashwant also mentions Lavanya, who dislikes Deepika. Chirag says he will handle Lavanya. As they talk, Lavanya drives by and sees them together. She wonders what Chirag is doing with Yashwant.

Jahnvi tells Shobha that Deepika is going to ruin their lives by marrying into a good family.

Later, Lavanya confronts Chirag. She asks him what he was talking about with Yashwant because she saw them together earlier. Chirag lies, saying that Yashwant asked him to handle Prithvi and Jahnvi’s wedding. Lavanya doesn’t believe him and says she knows him better than anyone else. Chirag avoids answering and walks away, saying they’ll talk later. Lavanya is suspicious and calls someone, instructing them to finish some task by tonight.

Back at home, Yashwant urges Deepika to seriously consider Chirag’s marriage proposal but tells her not to mention it to anyone. Shobha tries to eavesdrop on their conversation by hiding near the door. Yashwant realizes she’s listening and makes a comment to taunt her.

Meanwhile, Chirag is thinking about how worried Yashwant is that Deepika might be treated poorly by his family, just like Shobha and Jahnvi treat her now. He promises himself that he will always protect Deepika. Chirag sends Deepika a message, asking how she’s feeling. They chat for a while and feel happy talking to each other.
